Meet Matt
Dr. Matt Sennott is the Owner of Athletic Dynamics. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA where he earned his Bachelor's in Athletic Training and Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Duquesne University. During his clinical training, Matt worked in a variety of settings and with athletes in the high school and collegiate ranks.

Professionally, Matt has been a practicing sports physical therapist since 2017. He has extensive experience in treating the professional athlete (NFL, NHL, NBA, MLS, MLB, PGA) and Division I-III collegiate athletes with sports including football, soccer, baseball, basketball, track & field, golf, and hockey. In addition, Matt is extremely passionate about working with fitness athletes of all levels (i.e. casual exercise, CrossFit, bodybuilding, weightlifting, powerlifting). These athletes work with Matt to address persistent pain or physical limitations, post-surgical rehabilitation and to enhance overall performance.

In addition to physical therapy, Matt is a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He bridges the gap between rehab and sports performance training by breaking down power, strength, and speed to its fundamental mechanics. His treatment style includes hands-on manual therapy for pain relief and introducing new movements into the nervous system followed by individualized programming for his patients and clients including neuromuscular re-education, plyometrics, strength and active recovery principles. Matt emphasizes injury prevention principles throughout the episode of care, initiates movement early on after injury and works closely with each athlete and their team to help them reach their full potential.

Matt is passionate about treating the whole athlete. As part of this, your care will include discussions regarding lifestyle habits like nutrition, sleep, stress management, and mental health to ensure you achieve your best outcome. In addition, Matt has an extensive network of professionals in each of these fields to better assist each patient and client as needed.
